Welcome to Hareside Primary School

Welcome to Hareside. We hope the information and pictures on our website will give you flavour of what we are about.

Hareside is a good school with an outstanding early years provision (Ofsted December 2017).  We are a 3 - 11 primary school in Cramlington, Northumberland with places for 420 children, plus a 104 place nursery.  We are very fortunate to be on a fantastic site with excellent outdoor facilities and a modern, purpose-built building.

We have a reputation for our high academic standards and great pupil care.  Our talented, dedicated staff at Hareside share a belief that our high standards are only reached by ensuring our children are happy, safe, motivated to learn and are given a wide variety of fun and engaging learning experiences.

We are particularly proud of a statement from our school inspection report and a comment written by one of our parents:-

“Pupils are courteous and polite. They are wonderful ambassadors for their caring and harmonious school.” - Ofsted 2015

“I would just like to thank all the teachers who have done an amazing job over the years to help our son become the person he is today. Thank you.” - a parent
